Notice Description

This project is a collaboration between the UK Team consisting of UK government lawyers ([Redacted], DWP Legal Advisers and [Redacted], Office of the Parliamentary Counsel) and Novallex ([Redacted]and [Redacted]) in a new and evolving area of legal innovation. While the immediate objective is to produce a useful navigation tool for a particular set of legal rules, a longer term goal is to develop a system for producing and maintaining a code version of legislative rules that is adaptable to other projects. Novellex will: - Design and build the "front end of the tool" to reflect the UK team's requirements. - Lead in translating the rule maps into loglaw tables (including men-toring/training UK Team).Novallex will ensure the loglaw accurately reflects rule maps. - Convert the log law tables to rules engine using the Novallex propri-ety software (including testing, and also noting that this is an itera-tive process and may mean the rule maps need to be adapted by the UK Team where loglaw testing reveals logical flaws - Produce a working web based navigation tool capable of being adopted by DWP (whether for more advanced testing or for integration with DWP systems, or standalone web-based application.
