Notice Description

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU on behalf of NHS Birmingham and Solihull ICB and WorkWell partners (Birmingham City Council and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council) are looking to work with organisations based in the communities of East Birmingham and North Solihull who are interested in managing 2-5 work and health coaches. Each coach will be responsible for delivering 100 plans over a period of 18 months or so until 31st March 2026. The requirement is proposed to be split into 4 lots which will have the following footprints: * Lot 1 - Aligned to Shard End & Kitts Green and Birmingham East Central Primary Care Networks with funding for 3 FTE work and health coaches delivering 300 workwell plans and funding of PS171K over 18 months. * Lot 2 - Aligned to Washwood Heath & Nechells and Saltley & Alum Rock Primary Care Networks with funding for 3 FTE work and health coaches delivering 300 workwell plans and funding of PS171K over 18 months. * Lot 3 - Aligned to Small Heath and Bordersley East Primary Care Networks with funding for 2 FTE work and health coaches delivering 200 workwell plans and funding of PS114K over 18months. * Lot 4 - Aligned to North Solihull Primary Care Network with funding for 2 FTE work and health coaches delivering 200 workwell plans and funding of PS114K over 18 months. The ICB anticipates organisations bidding for a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 2 lots. In order to move the process forward, the ICB will be holding an engagement event on Friday 19th July at 11 am. The event will be held via Microsoft Teams. Organisations will also be given the opportunity to have a 1:1 session with commissioners to discuss any aspect of the service specification/funding. Organisations interested in attending the engagement event and/or having a 1:1 with commissioners should e-mail: agem.bsolgandscontracts@nhs.net for further details. Organisations who are interested in taking part in the subsequent procurement process must express an interest in the requirement by completing a short survey aimed at establishing their general suitability. Organisations may complete this either before or after attending the event on 17th July. The Expression of Interest will be open until 31st July and will be available via the Atamis Health Family portal: https://atamis-1928.my.site.com/s/Welcome. Interested providers must register (if they have not already done so) and search for opportunity reference C295507. Additional information: The total value of this service will be PS570,000 over 18 months. As such, this service is below the Light Touch Regime threshold of PS663,540 and as such neither NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU nor NHS Birmingham and Solihull ICB nor any of the WorkWell partners shall be bound by the requirements of Schedule 3 or any other part of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (as amended) for this requirement. In addition, for the avoidance of doubt, as this requirement is not for Health Care Services for the purposes of the Health Service in England, none of the aforementioned organisations shall be bound by the requirements of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 for this requirement.
