This initiative falls under the health and social work services category and is located in the West Midlands, England. The procurement is currently at the Award stage, having been completed on 12 June 2017. The contract, valued at approximately £300,000, will commence on 19 June 2017 and is set to last until 30 November 2018. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) would be well-equipped to compete for future opportunities, especially as the commissioning authority intends to re-procure the service through a full competitive tender exercise in early to mid-2018. This forthcoming tendering process will provide a chance for businesses to engage in delivering essential community dermatology services, addressing local capacity needs and ensuring patient safety.
