Personal Safety Alarm Services

Notice Description

Tender for the procurement of personal safety alarm (PSA) services to support the most vulnerable / high risk of harm individuals. Tenderers should provide PSAs and relevant accessories and provide a 24 hour, 365 day (366 in leap years) monitored service that it is able to immediately meet any, and all PSA activations from users, or evidence an alternative method to ensure an immediate response to meet user need for support. The operational processes shall enable Staffordshire Police (or other identified police forces by referral) to respond immediately for calls for service by providing an accurate geo-location of the point from where a call for support was activated, through a minimum of GPS. The operational processes should enable Staffordshire Police (or other police forces by referral) to 'live time' track movement of the activated PSA The PSAs should be easy to operate and of appropriate design to be discreet, particularly noting that they may be allocated to victims of domestic abuse, where the perpetrator may be resident in a household.
