Summary of the contracting process

The Home Office is seeking suppliers for its "Targeted Intervention Services" tender, aimed at delivering health and social work services to support individuals at risk of radicalisation, particularly British families returning from conflict zones. Currently in the planning stage, the initiative has an engagement deadline set for 27th March 2019 at 23:59:59 UTC. This procurement is expected to involve a two-stage process including a supplier questionnaire followed by an invitation to tender. Interested parties are required to register on the eSourcing Suite, Emptoris, as the procurement will be managed electronically. The services will be provided across various locations, including British Overseas Territories, Europe, and the United Kingdom.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations capable of providing specialised intervention and support services. Businesses that excel in offering mentoring, social care, and clinical support to vulnerable individuals or communities would be ideally suited to compete for this contract. Given the sensitive nature of the services required, suppliers with experience in trauma recovery and family dynamics would be particularly advantageous, enabling them to contribute effectively to the programme's objectives of rehabilitation and reintegration.
