Notice Description

This notice pertains to the establishment of a Light Touch Dynamic Purchasing System. It is our intention to follow the rules of the Light Touch Regime due to the requirement falling under the category of Professional Educational Services. The system will run for a period of 4 years, with an option to extend for an additional 2 years. This is planned to replace the previous provision of the Operational Associates Framework currently live on Redimo2. This expires 1st March 2016. The replacement system will also be run via the Redimo2 platform. The planned go-live date for the system is 11th March 2016, allowing a period of time from 1st February 2016 for population of the system via open and fair process. 29.01.16 OJEU publication 01.02.16 Notice placed on the current system advising participants of the transition 01.02.16 Redimo2 ready to accept participant expressions of interest 15.02.16 Appraisal of participants begins 11.03.16 New system goes live for call-offs to begin The agreement will be applicable across the Department for Education and it's associated bodies and comprises several lots. The proposed lots and required associates are as follows, but not limited to: A range of educational associates including: - Assessors - Brokers - Coaches - Children's services commissioners - Children's services trust professional, legal and recruitment support - Children's social care intervention advisers - Development of practitioner networks - Evaluators - Facilitators - Mentors - Practitioners - Programme design and development - Quality assurance - Researchers - Speakers - Operational development and delivery - Trainers - Writers It is indicated that up to 6 500 000 GBP worth of call-offs could be run through the system in each year of its use. Additional information: Participants will be able to express their interest via the opportunities section of the Redimo2 proactis portal. Registration on the proactis system is required prior to this. The next step is for participants to express an interest in joining the ECSC Dynamic Purchasing System. The system will be available for participant expression of interests from the 1st February 2016. Applicable participants will be invited to apply for ECSC membership within 48 hours of submitting their interest. The initial window for membership applications will close on the 15th February 2016 and these will be appraised between the 15th February 2016 and the 11th March 2016, when the system will go live. To ensure applications are appraised prior to the ECSC Framework going live, we would strongly encourage you to apply prior to this deadline. The system does; however, remain open to new members throughout its duration.
