Notice Title

Footfall Monitoring and Evaluation

Notice Description

Copeland Borough Council is seeking provision of footfall counters and supporting tracking and reporting software to provide information on pedestrian movements to support our bid for a share of the Future High Streets Fund (FHSF). Subject to a successful outcome in our FHSF bid, this commission requires the installation of a minimum of 6 footfall counters across key locations that will host sites under proposed FHSF intervention. This is key to reassuring MHCLG that our projects have met the FHSF objectives to drive high-street growth. These counters will be used to: * Provide baseline footfall before any capital works are undertaken; * Monitor footfall at key locations over the duration of the FHSF programme (2020-2024); * Provide daily footfall counts and provide summary analysis to enable collation of quarterly statistics and comparison data (e.g. month-to-month, quarter-to-quarter); * To highlight any anomalies in data to enable local interpretation; * Provide a minimum guarantee of 10 years on any hardware and/or software installation. The footfall counters required are not for internal shop footfall monitoring but for external pedestrian movement. Further details are provided in the Invitation to Tender documents which will be made available upon registering an interest in this opportunity via The Chest Procurement Portal. All correspondence, clarifications and submissions must be made via The Chest. For support to use the Chest please contact Proactis Help Centre: https://supplierhelp.due-north.com/
