BUSINESS SUPPORT OFFICER Rate of Pay: Band C = PS10.01ph to worker Hours: 37 hours pw Location: Sandwell Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury (plus working from home) Contract type: Temporary for 3 months Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Job Summary: The applicant will need to have typing/word processing ability to OCR/RSA 2 standard or equivalent and a GCSE in English and Maths or an equivalent qualification. It is essential you have at least 12 months experience of working in a business support/administrative environment. You should be able to interact positively and communicate effectively at all levels; be self-motivated, taking a proactive approach to your work. You will be working as part of a team supporting a busy front-line service. Therefore, you should have the ability to both organise and prioritise your work ensuring you are able to meet deadlines. The ability to take minutes of meetings, work on your own initiative and contribute to effective team working is required Please note this advert is also out with our Master Vendor You will receive further information regarding invoice terms if your candidate is appointed to this role.
