Notice Description

- The Contractor will provide in-patient and out-patient cover to all staff (on permanent and long term contract) employed by BHC in Sri Lanka and their named dependants, where 'family' is defined as the member of staff and his or her qualifying dependants as stated below: One long-term partner, defined as the person to whom the member of staff is legally married, or the person with whom the member of staff shares a long -term relationship that resembles marriage. Any number of children, defined as: o The offspring of members of staff under the age of 19 (21 if in full-time education); and not gainfully employed; and normally reside with the member of staff (said that, where in full-time education, children can reside temporarily away from home); or o The offspring of members of staff who are adopted, fostered or from a previous relationship, and meet the conditions set out above; or o The offspring of members of staff, who are wholly dependent upon the member of staff because of a mental or physical infirmity. o Parents for those members of staff who are single/divorced/separated and have not enrolled their children, if any, in the plan. o Parents of single members are covered up to 65 years of age. Additional information: In order to be considered for this project it and receive pre-qualification and/or tender information it is necessary that you register your company (including any relevant information requested) on the Foreign & Commonwealth Office Procurement Portal, e-Bravo. Failure to do this will mean your company may not receive a Tender; no tenders will be issued via open e-mail. Project 2146, ITT 2851 : Medical Insurance for Local Staff & Dependents for The British High Commission Colombo, Srilanka How to apply in this Project: 1. Register your company on the eSourcing portal (this is only required once) - Browse to the eSourcing Portal: https://fco.bravosolution.co.uk and click the link to register. - Accept the terms and conditions and click "continue" - Enter your correct business and user details - Note the username you chose and click "Save" when complete - you will shortly receive an e-mail with your unique password (please keep this secure). 2. PQQ/ITT or Bids not submitted via the FCO's eProcurement portal will not be considered.
