Summary of the contracting process

The Department of Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) is organising an industry engagement event titled "AI Security Institute - Industry Day." This research and development service opportunity is specifically targeted towards the AI and technology sector. The event is planned for Wednesday, 19th March 2025 in Stratford, London, UK. It is currently in the planning stage, with the registration for attendance closing at 13:00 (UK Time) on 10th March 2025. Attendance details will be delivered by 12th March 2025. The event is a part of the early engagement notices under the CPV classification: Research and development services and related consultancy services (ID: 73000000).

This event presents significant opportunities for businesses that specialise in AI model evaluations, human participant studies, infrastructure development for AI research, capability elicitation techniques, and governance research on AI risks. Firms demonstrating strong expertise and relevance to the AI Security Institute’s research areas are encouraged to apply. SMEs and voluntary, community and social enterprises are particularly suitable for this event. Attendees will have the chance to network, engage with AISI teams, and contribute to the shaping of global AI policies. While this is a networking-focused event with no presentations required, it nonetheless offers a strategic chance for businesses to align themselves with future procurement opportunities within the AI research framework. Interested companies should submit their requests to dsit.dttgcbp@dsit.gov.uk, explaining their expertise and relevance to AISI's work.
