Primary Care - Care Home Enhanced Service for North East Essex

Notice Description

North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group hereby invites suitably qualified organisations to attend a Market Engagement Event which will inform you of the CCG's intentions to commission an enhanced service for care home residents (nursing and residential) to ensure the provision of an above GMS core, proactive and preventative PRIMARY CARE service in the Colchester and Tendring areas. This service will require provider(s) to work at-scale within defined localities across organisational boundaries to develop a sustainable and effective service. The service is looking to commence in Early 2019. The Market Engagement event will take place on 5th October 2018, from 12:00 noon at Aspen House, Stephenson Road, Severalls Business Park, Colchester, CO4 9QR. Refreshments will be available from 11.45am. The commissioners are keen to receive feedback and would welcome views in relation to this service. The market engagement event will offer a further opportunity to engage with stakeholders and for prospective service providers to learn more about the service. The format of the event will be a Presentation from the commissioners followed by a Q & A session. The information gathered will be used to inform the CCG's service model and future procurement plan. To register interest in attending the engagement event, please email Charles.kirabo@attain.co.uk. You will in turn receive a booking form for you to complete and return. The closing date for registering interest in attending is 12:00 noon on 3rd October 2018. Due to limitations of space, attendance is restricted to a maximum of 2 representatives per organisation. Additional information: Please note: Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken by you prior to any subsequent procurement is a matter solely for your own commercial judgment. The Commissioners reserve the right to withdraw from the process at any time or to not tender the service(s) or to tender on a different basis. In such circumstances, and in any event, The Commissioners and/or their advisors shall not be liable for any costs or loss of expenses whatsoever incurred by any organisation, agent or subsidiary that may have contributed to any proposals submitted to this notice.
