Summary of the contracting process

Banbury Town Council is managing the procurement process for the construction of the "People's Park Community Garden Pavilion," a project classified under pavilion construction work. The procurement is currently at the planning stage, with Expressions of Interest having closed on 20th January 2020. The aim is to have the pavilion operational by 1st April 2020, following the demolition of a current structure and the necessary planning approvals from Cherwell District Council. The project is located in Banbury, England, specifically at the postal code OX16 0AD.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for construction companies with expertise in public sector projects and modular construction. Businesses capable of delivering a facility that includes essential amenities such as six toilets, including a DDA compliant unit, as well as a plant room and staff mess area, would be well-suited to compete. Contractors must demonstrate prior experience with similar projects, providing references and an indicative work programme, making this an ideal opportunity for established firms in the construction industry looking to expand their portfolio.
