Summary of the contracting process

Kent County Council is inviting organisations to engage in early market and stakeholder activities for the forthcoming VCSE Led Mental Health Recovery and Prevention Services, titled "Live Well Kent and Medway". This initiative falls under the community health services category and aims to enhance mental health recovery and prevention. Located in the South East of the United Kingdom, the council is currently in the tender stage of the procurement process, with a deadline for registration set for 16 April 2026. Interested parties must note that the engagement sessions, held between 21 April and 24 April 2026, are virtual and aim to gather insights to inform future service delivery, not a call for competition.

This engagement presents an opportunity for VCSE organisations, mental health and wellbeing providers, community groups, and digital providers to contribute to a community-based, recovery-focused support system, particularly for individuals aged 17 and above. Organisations that focus on improving emotional wellbeing, preventing relapse, and enhancing daily living can benefit greatly by participating. Businesses looking to expand their reach and influence within the community health services sector can leverage these sessions to share feedback and gain insights into county-level needs, ultimately aiding in shaping a comprehensive service offering aligned with national and local protocols.
