Notice Description

RBG is looking for a Provider to deliver apprenticeships to newly recruited and existing staff across various directorates and service areas in a range of vocational areas. Section 2.2 of the specification includes a list of which qualifications the Provider is being asked to propose and whether the learners will be selected from the existing workforce, new recruits or a combination of both. RBG is looking for a Provider who can be flexible with enrolment dates, possibly offering them throughout the year in order to avoid the need to co-ordinate starts in line with the academic year. The apprenticeships will be targeted to staff employed directly by RBG and who can be funded by the apprenticeship levy. Learning will be delivered to: 1. Existing staff who will be using apprenticeships training as part of their continuing professional development. and/or 2. New recruits who are mandated to undertake the apprenticeships as part of their contract. All applicants for the apprenticeship must have: * A contract of employment with RBG * Been in employment in RBG for a minimum of 6 months (except where in a recognised entry level career progression scheme) * Resided in the UK for 3 years or more * Have commitment to remain in the employment of Greenwich Council for two years following successful completion of the programme (unless they on a fixed term contract) RBG is looking for a Provider to deliver the following qualifications. LOT 1: 2 x Level 3 Installation Electrician / Maintenance Electrician (pathway to be confirmed) LOT 2: 3 x Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery (2 x Architectural Joinery and 1 x Site Carpenter) LOT 3: 2 x Level 2 Construction Specialist: Plastering LOT 4: 2 x Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative Providers can bid to deliver one or more of the Lots listed at their discretion. Any sub-contracting of provision should be identified and details of sub-contractors provided in the quotation. If bidding for more than 1 x lot a response will be required for each. Additional information: This procurement will be managed electronically via the RBG Proactis Procontract e-tendering Suite.
