Notice Description

The South London Waste Partnership is made up of four London local authorities: the London Borough of Croydon (LBC), Royal Borough of Kingston (RBK), London Borough of Merton (LBM), and London Borough of Sutton (LBS). The Royal Borough of Kingston (on behalf of the South London Waste Partnership) is seeking bids for the provision of one or more of the following services: - receipt and bulking of Contract Waste at a bulking or waste transfer station - collection of Contract Waste from a bulking or waste transfer facility - bulk haulage of Contract Waste - treatment of Contract Waste Note: The Contractor will not be responsible for the collection of material from the kerbside. For the services being procured under this contract, Contract Waste refers to the separately collected waste streams; Paper & Card, Container Mix (cans, glass and plastic) and Dry Mixed Recycling (DMR). The contract will commence from 1st April 2025. The proposed duration of the contract will be an initial term of three (3) years with the option to extend the contract for up to a maximum of four (4) years. The turnover requirement for this contract is two times the annual contract value. The required annual turnover threshold per Lot is as below: Lot 1.1: PS130,000 Lot 1.2: PS130,000 Lot 1.3: PS220,000 Lot 1.4: PS170,000 Lot 2.1: PS360,000 Lot 2.2: PS370,000 Lot 2.3: PS730,000 Lot 2.4: PS640,000 Lot 3.1: PS110,000 Lot 3.2: PS110,000 Lot 3.3: PS260,000 Lot 3.4: PS360,000 Applicants must also meet certain financial ratios, which are set out in more detail in the guidance for completion of the Selection Questionnaire. It is our intention to run the procurement using the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation process in line with Regulation 29 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (as amended).
