Notice Description

Haringey Council is inviting potential providers to attend a pre-tender Market engagement event for the provision of Single Homeless Pathway Services. The event will take place on; Date: 2nd March 2020 Time: 14.30 hrs to 16.30hrs Venue: Conference Room 3 & 4 Level 9, River Park House 225 High Road, London N22 8HQ https://www.haringey.gov.uk/contact/finding-our-offices The Pathway will include the following types of accommodation-based provision: * Dedicated Women's Pathway (Mixed Support) * Multiple Disadvantage (High Support) * Move Through & Visiting (Low Support) The Council currently commissions supported housing for adults in a combination of high support 24-hour staffed, accommodation based setting and medium to low visiting support in dispersed properties around the borough. Services will be remodelled to provide trauma informed support that enables homeless people with histories of abuse, rough sleeping, mental health, substance abuse and criminal justice involvement to access services rapidly. The redesigned Pathway will offer a greater range of provision types, settings and support levels that enable people to build on their assets and to develop their independent living skills. The new services will form a clear and coherent pathway in which the goals of support is to facilitate a transition to independent living. Services will be focused on preventing repeat homelessness, building skills and resilience and improving health and wellbeing outcomes so that people can live fulfilling, healthy and independent lives. The services will contribute to the delivery of the Council's Homelessness and Rough Sleeping (2018) strategies by helping to prevent and relieve homelessness, reduce the use of temporary accommodation and provide rapid exit from street homelessness for those in need. The event will clarify the services to be commissioned and will give providers the opportunity to indicate their interest in this opportunity. It is anticipated that the procurement for this service will commence in early spring 2020.
