Occupational Therapist's Rate of Pay: Band F (?15.78 Per Hour (PAYE) or please let me know what the candidate would be looking for. Hours: 37 Hours (see advert for more detail) Location: Working from Home Start Date: ASAP Contract type: Agency (12 weeks) Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Brief description: Sandwell MBC Therapy team are currently looking to recruit a number of agency Occupational Therapists on a short-term basis, initially for a minimum period of 3 months but this may be extended. We are a dynamic and responsive team who work closely alongside colleagues in community social work and reablement services to provide a streamlined and quality customer journey. Applicants will need to be self-motivated, organised with effective communication skills both written and verbally. Part of the daily role will be completing assessments both in service users' homes to help promote and maximise our service users independence and virtually by the use of programs such as Microsoft Teams. Applicants will need their own vehicle and the ability to travel around the borough. Your responsibilities will include: o Carrying out Occupational Therapy assessments for vulnerable adults throughout the borough. o Assessing for the provision of equipment as well as minor and major adaptations. o Working closely with the social work colleagues, other agencies & professionals. o To provide a service that flexibly meets the needs of service users within budgetary constraints. o To demonstrate and observe the use of equipment, adaptations and assisted technology. Our offer to you: o Flexible Hours: The Therapy Team currently work during standard business hours, these hours are 9:00 - 17:30 Monday to Thursday and 9:00 - 17:00 on Friday and ideally the posts are full time (37 hours per week), however there may be a possibility for some posts to be filled with part time hours or slight alterations made to working hours. At present all staff are working from home. o Clinical Supervision: Access to regular clinical supervision and support in undertaking this role. o Induction and Training: This will be provided to staff who are not familiar with MS Teams, or in using other internal client recording computer systems and processes. This role requires an Enhanced Barring Check for Adults and you must hold a BSC or Diploma in Occupational Therapy Please can the agencies send over a CV, 2x up to date references and a copy of Terms and Conditions. You will also need to include your agency on cost details to each submission. Stated rates must be inclusive of all known costs. This role falls inside of IR35.
