Summary of the contracting process

The South Downs National Park Authority is currently conducting a tender process for the "Viability Assessment Framework", which falls under the business services category, specifically consulting services. The procurement is at the tendering stage, with submissions due by 2nd July 2019. The authority, based in Midhurst, West Sussex, plans to engage up to three suppliers in this framework, with an estimated contract value of approximately £30,000 over a year, starting from 25th July 2019 and lasting until 24th July 2020. This is an open procurement process, allowing various suppliers to compete for inclusivity in the framework agreement.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for consulting firms specialising in development viability and related services. Businesses with expertise in economic assessment, market analysis, or strategic consulting will find this procurement suitable, especially those that are looking to engage with public sector contracts. As a competitive process, bidders should leverage their special skills and prior experience to differentiate themselves, particularly since the authority intends to appoint just three suppliers, providing a focused yet high-competition environment for prospective collaborators.
