To express your interest in this opportunity e-mail ExpressionOfInterest@crowncommercial.gov.uk. . To register on our e-sourcing portal click on https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.ukand follow the link "Register for CCS eSourcing". . UK Shared Business Services Ltd, acting as the Contracting Authority, is putting into place a contract of behalf of the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) . A Multi-Corer system is required by BAS scientific work involving the collection of both biological material & geological sediment. . The proposed system must be highly capable & proven to work in the harsh environment within which BAS operates. . (Please Note : Specification details are availabeas an attachment via Emptoris) . Further Multi-Corer Systems may be required by BAS in coming years, hence within this tender opportunity BAS wishes to enter into a Contract under which it has the option to purchase an additional 2-3 units over the duration of the Contract. . The key operational capabilities of the proposed multi-corer system are : - A Modular Framework Construction - Reliable Deployment to 6000m - Provision of 12 sample tubes, each being at least 60cm in length & 10cm in diameter - Have the ability to adjust penetration depth of the core tubes - Delivery of the Multi-Corer system before the end of April 2017 Additional information: DO NOT APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE BUYER. As part of the strategic alliance between UK Shared Business Services (UK SBS) and Crown Commercial Service (CCS), UK SBS can use the CCS eSourcing Suite, this can be done online at https://gpssourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk by following the link "Register for CCS eSourcing". . Please note that to register, you must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so. Once you have registered on the eSourcing Suite, a registered user can express an interest for a specific procurement. . This is done by emailing : ExpressionOf interest@crowncommercial.gov.uk. . Your e-mail must clearly state : the name and reference for the procurement you wish to register for ; the name of the registered Bidder ; and the name and contact details for the registered individual sending the email.
