Notice Description

There is an on-going programme of works to update and bring a number of our high priority IT Comms rooms up to a certain standard. Not only have we updated the cabling and IT equipment but a proportion of the works has been to upgrade the environments in which we hold this equipment and provide a service to our users to make them fit for purpose and resilient. For example installing air conditioning so the IT racks are running at the correct temperature, having dedicated power supplies, making them secure where appropriate, suitable lighting and in some areas that we have shared spaces so segregating our equipment, this will make access easier, more secure and ability to monitor these rooms. A list of works is shown in section 7 and detailed room by room, these have varying levels of works as some will just be a few snagging issues that require completion in order to sign off the room as complete. Others are rooms that require much more, for example: partitioning, lighting, air conditioning, new doors, dedicated power supplies, fire stopping suitable anti-static flooring etc. Responses must be fully completed and submitted exclusively via the Due North (Pro-Contract) e-procurement portal no later than 12:00 noon, Friday 24 March 2017. All communications must also be via Due North (Pro-Contract). The portal can be accessed at www.supplying2nhs.org. Additional information: Site visits are required. Please contact Michelle Mercer, IT Project Manager to arrange a suitable date and time. Tel: 01536 491676 E-mail: michellemercer@nhs.net
