17 187 - Provision of Security Services
Notice Description
Cheshire East Borough Council have awarded the contract for the provision of Security Services for all Council buildings. The contracted Service Provider shall adopt industry recognized methods and procedures and shall maintain full compliance with all statutory and legislative requirements, directives, standards, protocols and law in the planning and delivery of the services. A quality, high value for money and expert service delivery is required from the Service Provider to ensure that the Premises continuously operate at high standards of reliability, availability and presentation, and realise the vision and business objectives of the Council. The contract is for a 2 year initial term with the optional extensions of 2 x 12 months. Contract start date is 20.7.2018. The value of this contract is in the region of 260 000 GBP - 520 000 GBP, which includes the optional extensions. The contract is awarded to a single service provider. The scope of the services are mobile patrols; key holding; static guards; building support services; and ad-hoc security services. The Service Provider shall provide a professionally managed, high quality security, service that complies with all legislation governing the security industry and shall be contactable by the Council 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. There will be no guarantee or warranty given as to the nature or volume of the Services or the number of call offs under the Security Services Agreement.
