CCDE16A07 - Provision of ISO 9001 Services for Disclosure & Barring Service

Notice Description

The Barring Operations Directorate in Darlington holds an existing ISO 9001 2008 certification for the whole of Operations Barring including the decision making of cases. This is due to be re-certified in July 2017. The Production section of the Disclosure Operations Directorate in Liverpool holds ISO 9001 2008 certification for functional checking processes which exist to compile accurate information for release to employers within set timescales. This expires on 14th September 2018. The existing ISO 9001 2008 standards will need to be maintained, with support being provided to assist with the transition to the new ISO 9001-2015 standard as required. The new certification will need to be provided as well as regular surveillance to ensure DBS Quality Management Systems (QMS) is meeting the ISO 9001 2015 standard on an on-going basis. Additional information: How to apply Instructions to Potential Providers: Potential Providers must first be registered on the Crown Commercial Service e-Sourcing Suite in order to respond to the Procurement. If you have not yet registered on the e-Sourcing Suite, this can be done online at https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk by following the link 'Register for CCS e-Sourcing'. Please note that, to register, you must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation which you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so at the Invitation to Tender stage. Potential Providers should note that it could take up to 10 working days to obtain a DUNS number.
