Notice Description

The quantum technology transfer centre at the University of Birmingham, as part of the quantum hub for metrology and sensors, has contracted for a hydrogen maser: * At least one 10MHz output * At least one pulse per second (PPS) output * All outputs to be 50 Ohm impedance * Integrated battery power supply able to power the unit for greater than 12 hours in the event of mains power failure * Stability of <1E-13 at 1 seconds averaging time * Stability of <2E-15 at 10,000 seconds averaging time * Phase noise -120dBc/Hz or better at 1Hz offset, -150dBc/Hz or better at 1kHz offset * Magnetic sensitivity <2E-14 per gauss * Temperature sensitivity of <1E-15 per degree Celsius * Operational lifetime of 20 years or greater * Remote monitoring via platform agnostic computer interface. * Warranty period of >3years * Powered by standards UK plug and mains.
