Notice Title

Intelligent Parking at TfWM Park & Ride sites

Notice Description

Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) is seeking to transform the way in which it manages its Park & Ride estate by enhancing data collection and presentation. The aim is to enhance customer information and feed into operational and development plans including informing future parking, walking and cycling initiatives as well as supporting wider organisational work streams. TfWM's currently estate consists of 65 Park & Ride car parks and is responsible for managing approximately 9000 spaces which will increase to 9620 with the opening of the new Longbridge facility. TfWM wishes to engage with suppliers through a market testing exercise to understand what opportunities there are to obtain an increased wealth of data and information about how Park & Ride sites operate and gain greater insight into user behaviour. This would include collection and collation of live and historic car park count data and more profile information on our users. We want to establish platforms to ensure that customers and operational / development staff can effectively access the data in a format which is simple, efficient and effective in informing decisions and actions. We recognise that not all suppliers will be able to provide all elements outlined above, however, we are keen to understand what each organisation can deliver and whether there are any opportunities for collaborative working with other companies to provide the full range of required outputs (this is not essential). In order to access the supporting documents and submit your interest please do so through BravoSolution, the WMCA's e-tendering portal (https://wmca.bravosolution.co.uk). The PQQ includes further information on this requirement and the reference is pqq_141. If you are not already registered on BravoSolution it is free and usually only takes a few minutes to do so. If the project is of interest could you please complete the Questionnaire contained in the PQQ by 1700 on Friday 2nd July 2021. TfWM are hosting a session, via MS Teams, to go through the requirements and for potential bidders to ask questions which will take place on Tuesday 29th June 2021 commencing at 1400. If you would like to attend please pre-register by sending a message through BravoSolution by close of business on Monday 28th June 2021 and we will send over the meeting invite.
