Firms with expertise in research and development, as well as those that can provide innovative solutions for structural assessments and maintenance planning, would be well placed to compete. Given the nature of the work, large-scale consultancies like Atkins, who are already engaged, set a benchmark for quality, making this a competitive but accessible opportunity for capable firms within the sector.
