The proposal is to provide highways development management consultancy support to provide a responsive service to the Highways Development Management Team including: * Providing timely responses to planning applications; * Assisting in the assessment of: Technical Notes; Scoping Assessments; Transport Assessments; Transport Statements and modelling supporting these; * Assessing the modelling requirements for MDAs; * Assist in assessment of Major Development Areas funded through PPAs; * Appeal/Inquiry Support; * Assessment of reserved matters applications; * Discharge of Condition Applications; * Attendance at meetings with developers in relation to specific applications; * Section 106 Negotiations; * Provide Highways Technical Expertise at planning committees.
