Job Title: Solicitor - Housing Disrepair (Civil and Business) Rate of Pay: PS23.09 per hour (Inside IR35) Hours: 37 hours per week Location: Sandwell Council House, Oldbury, B69 3DE Start Date: ASAP Contract type: Temporary (Agency) 12 weeks with a view to extend Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Brief description: About you: You will be qualified solicitor, barrister, or chartered legal executive. The Role: * Prepare and process cases and legal documents in the area of disrepair for Housing and litigation. * Carry a caseload and work with minimal or no supervision. * Personally, manage complex casework and legal projects in the area of Housing and litigation law. * Assist with the setting up of internal processes and deliver training to internal client department. * Provide responsive advice on the management of risk on legal issues. No DBS is required for this role. Please note this advert is also out with our Master Vendor You will receive further information regarding invoice terms if your candidate is appointed to this role. Invoices must be sent electronically on a weekly basis to templink_1@sandwell.gov.uk along with your workers authorised timesheet supplied by your agency.
