Brief Description of Requirement The project The Mathematical Sciences theme, on behalf of EPSRC, wish to undertake a neuro-inclusion audit of our processes and approaches to engagement and communication methods with our stakeholders to consider how we can provide a more supportive and inclusive environment for neurodivergent applicants and partners and to ultimately, improve our own practices and share learning across EPSRC and UKRI. The aim of this tender process is to identify an independent 3rd party to conduct the audit. This document provides a scope with detail of the desired objectives, outcomes, timeline and suggested approaches that the contractor may undertake. Objectives - The Mathematical Science theme will work with a 3rd party contractor to undertake an independent and unbiased examination of the inclusivity of the various ways we engage with the community external to EPSRC, with particular consideration of how we might better engage with neurodivergent members of our community. This includes members of the academic community but could also include other stakeholders. See below for scope of what is meant by "engagement". - There will be a number of opportunities for the 3rd party contractor to be involved in a range of engagements with the community which are currently planned from January to March 2023. It is hoped that these activities with the community will help give the 3rd party contractor a broad understanding of how the Mathematical Science team communicates and interacts with them, along with the procedures it has in place for engagement. These engagements may take place in person, hybrid or online so it will be anticipated that there will be ample opportunities to participate through these different means. Responses must be received by the date and time in the tender documentation; responses received outside of the deadline or not sent via the Jaggaer eSourcing portal will not be accepted or considered by the Contracting Authority further for this opportunity, unless a system outage is experienced, to which the Contracting Authority will advise upon accordingly. Interested organisations should ensure that they allow a sufficiency of time, prior to the deadline to allow all sections to be completed in full and any attachments to be uploaded.
