Notice Description

Oxfordshire County Council are intending to commission an All Age Accommodation and Support open framework. This will include both group and individual provision contracts according to the service type and needs of the service users. This will require provision across needs but specifically adults with Challenging or Complex Needs. The open framework will include provision for Young People and Care Leavers aged 16+. The framework will support the commissioning of new and existing provision such as accommodation, accommodation with support and support only provision as it best meets the outcomes of service users. OCC would like to work with landlords, providers and developers to develop our market. This includes current providers and new entrants to Oxfordshire. We are keen to hear from providers of care and support as well as Landlords and Developers to develop new housing solutions to meet our needs. The Council is starting with the engagement of new and current providers to understand the best way to meet these aims and objectives. This initial market engagement questionnaire is intended to understand the level of interest in the market in the Council's ambitions as well as to hear feedback and suggestions from registered housing providers, developers and private landlords. The Council intends to hold a series of market engagement events to shape the structure of the open framework(s) and the specification. The first requirements are anticipated to go to market in October 2022. The service spends up to PS300m on care with support accommodation and homelessness meeting the needs of Young People (Age 16+), Adults and Homelessness. Currently the service is looking to commissioning care and accommodation for up to 100 clients and provide for up to a further 30 annually.
