Notice Description

'We are looking to purchase an Ion Chromatography System which will be used to determinate levels of Carbohydrates, Amino Acids and Volatile Fatty Acids(VFA's). The system must be able to analyse Amino Acids and Carbohydrates or Amino Acids and VFA's at the same and must be capable of measuring with Limit of Quantification each type of component down to low parts per billion levels routinely. The system must have a chilled autosampler with a capacity of at least 90 vials. This will allow the system to run overnight with sample stability and increase sample throughput. The system must be capable or running any vendors columns in a chilled/heated compartment depending upon use. This system will mainly be used by Glaciologists looking at samples taken from the surface, middle and bottom of the glacial environments being studied. The system will also be used by Hydrologists studying nutrients at various points in the river system.'
