Notice Title
UK-Korea FTA Review - Research into Korea's policy positions relating to the upcoming UK-Korea FTA Review
Notice Description
The UK-Korea Continuity FTA came into force on 1 January 2021. As part of the continuity agreement, the parties agreed to 'commence negotiations, to build on the existing terms of this agreement and seek further liberalisation' within two years. As a result, the UK and Korea are due to commence renegotiation of the FTA throughout 2023. In order to inform the renegotiation of the UK-Korea FTA, we would like to commission research exploring Korean interests on key policy areas. In particular, those where we expect Korean offensive asks or strong resistance to UK positions. The project should identify Korean interests, key drivers behind their positions, relevant Korean stakeholders, and potential levers of influence to inform the UK. Additional information: Please direct any clarification questions relating to this opportunity to APAC.Procurement@FCDO.gov.uk using reference BESeoul/FTAReview/QUESTION in the subject header. Please be advised that questions and the responses may be anonymised and published for all registered bidders to see. Questions and answers will be uploaded to the attachment area of this opportunity. Please keep referring back to here in case of updates.
