Notice Title

Better Care Fund - Healthy Homes Assistance Dynamic Purchasing System

Notice Description

The Healthy Homes Assistance (HHA) project is a proactive prevention service aimed at cohorts of vulnerable people where works of repair, improvement or adaptation made to their homes would deliver a clear benefit to their health and wellbeing and subsequently reduce demand for services in the Health and Social Care sectors. The nature of the work varies greatly from minor adaptations e.g. fitting of grab rails through to property renovations including damp proofing works, heating installations and roofing repairs. Properties will often remain occupied for the duration of the works and in these circumstances Contractors will be expected to give particular attention to the individual needs of the clients. Although the works will sometimes be minor in value, they can often be complicated and involve the input of many different parties in addition to the HHA officer (for example Occupational Therapists, Local Authority Grants Officers, family members etc.) Contractors will, therefore, need to be patient and understanding. The Council are managing this requirement through a Dynamic Purchasing System and potential contractors are requested to register on the e-procruuemet portal 'Supply Great Yarmouth' (hosted by Due North) https://procontract.due-north.com/Register
