Notice Description

The Provider will use asset-based approaches to focus on early detection and help for women and their families who have the often overlapping issues of domestic abuse; mental health issues and drug & alcohol misuse. The Service will also contribute to reducing reoffending (ensuring offenders complete their community orders and licenses) with an overall aim of developing a safe, independent life with better health and wellbeing for all women and their families who attend. The Core Service elements of the Service are: - Provision of advice and support to women - in 1:1 and groups. - Risk assessment & safety planning for women & their families. - Assistance to overcome issues related to women & their families. - Referral & assistance to engage with other relevant agencies - Where appropriate, provide creche facilities which allow women with children to ensure care for their children aged 5 years and under, whilst they are utilising this Service.
