Wandsworth and Richmond Tier 2 Adult Weight Management Service

Text to be corrected in the original notice: Place of text to be modified: IV.2.2 Instead of: 04 January 2023 Time: 12:00 Read New: 06 January 2023 Time: 12:00 Other additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. The Wandsworth and Richmond Tier 2 Adult Weight Management (AWM) Service has been commissioned to support the local eligible population within the London Boroughs of Richmond Upon Thames and Wandsworth with excess weight. The Tier 2 AWM service will have universal access but will have a targeted focus on people faced with health inequalities and will deliver programmes that contribute to addressing increasing equity for different at-risk populations. The aim of the Service will be to provide a non-clinical weight management offer to enable individuals to lose weight safely within the context of a comprehensive approach to prevent and treat obesity. The multi-component group support service will be based on the guidelines and quality standards of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
