Summary of the contracting process

The City of London Corporation is conducting a Soft Market Testing (SMT) exercise for a Grants Management System, targeted at streamlining the management and reporting of grants. This initiative falls under the planning stage of procurement, with an engagement end date set for 27 January 2022. The project is focused on acquiring a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution that enhances operational efficiency across various departments within the City. Interested suppliers can find relevant documents and participate through the electronic tendering system, Capital eSourcing, with submissions due by 12:00 noon on the specified deadline.

This tender presents valuable opportunities for businesses specialising in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and those with expertise in SaaS solutions. As the City aims to improve grant management processes and eliminate reliance on spreadsheets, companies that offer innovative software solutions capable of integrating with existing systems would be well-positioned to compete. Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, as this SMT is designed to gather market insight while allowing all suppliers to remain eligible for future procurement activities.
