Notice Description
Title: Viability Appraisal Review Description: Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC) is one of the four Black Country Boroughs. It has an adopted development plan comprising of the Black Country Core Strategy and a Site Allocations and Delivery Development Plan Document (DPD) as well as Area Action Plans (AAP) and Supplementary Planning Documents SPD). The Borough has seen some significant investment in recent years particularly in West Bromwich the boroughs premier town centre. However, the borough also suffers from large areas of contaminated land (as a result of its industrial history) and relatively low housing prices compared to the national average Sandwell Council is seeking to appoint a consultant on a retained basis to provide expert independent advice to the Council and specifically to the Local Planning Authority in respect of development viability appraisals for residential and non-residential developments. The Council will be using the In-tend e-Tendering System for this Procurement exercise, please visit https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sandwellmbc to access the Sandwell MBC In-tend Supplier Portal. From here you will be able to register your company, express an interest in the opportunity, and gain immediate access to Quotation or other related documents. To submit a quotation you will be required to 'Opt In'. For a Step by Step user guide to the Sandwell MBC In-tend Supplier Portal please click on the 'Guidance for Suppliers' section of the website. All procurement responses must be carried out via the Sandwell MBC In-tend Supplier Portal.
