Notice Description

NHS England wish to consult with interested parties regarding the healthcare services required for HMP Bedford, for the substance misuse service and in-reach mental health service at HMP Peterborough, for the non-clinical substance misuse service in Suffolk prisons and for the service provided at a secure children's home (Clare Lodge). A meeting will be held at NHS England's offices at Fulbourn, Cambridge from 14.30 to 16.30 on 12th May 2015. NHS England wish to invite any interested party to attend, to hear from them their views on how the healthcare services could be provided most effectively, and how the services may improve the social, environmental and economic well-being of service users, past and present. For this reason, NHS England would like to extend a particular invitation to organisations who work with people who have previously been in custody, or who have been residents of secure children's home. There will be an opportunity to have a private discussion with NHS England staff, to discuss proposals and suggestions. Please indicate your interest in this event by contacting Amy at amy.potts@nhs.net, no later than 1700 on Friday 8 May 2015. Additional information: Please note that this is a consultation event, and does not necessarily indicate that the services will be offered for tender in 2015-16.
