The Department for Education is seeking expressions of interest for the evaluation of Year 2 of the Provider-level Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework (TEF). This evaluation aims to assess how well the framework is achieving its objectives, which include enhancing student choices, elevating the status of teaching, recognising exceptional teaching, and meeting the needs of employers and industries. The procurement is currently at the contract award stage, with the initial deadline for expressions of interest having been 5 PM on 19th January 2018. The contract period spans from 19th March 2018 to 20th August 2018, and the industry category is classified under research and development consultancy services (CPV Code: 73200000).

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses focused on research and consultancy, particularly those specialising in education and training evaluation. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to participate, making this an excellent opportunity for firms that can conduct surveys, interviews, and comprehensive analyses to inform educational frameworks.
