Notice Title

GB-Trent: Quotation for Attendance Tracking Service for Stoke-on-Trent Virtual School

Notice Description

Stoke-on-Trent Virtual School for Children in Care is looking to procure an attendance tracking service for its children in care in schools. The service will provide daily phone calls to schools by staff appropriately trained, including in safeguarding. Any absences or exclusions will need to be followed up by a range of actions, including first day calling to key professionals. The phone based dimension of the service will be complimented by a secure web based service providing a full range of reports and alerts. The web system must be capable of rapid integration with existing local authority systems. Because of the very high level of vulnerability for the young people involved in this service, a demonstrable and extensive track record in delivering a quality service in this area of work is an essential requirement. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.
