By securing a position on this accreditation list, businesses can expand their service offerings and potentially access a steady stream of governmental contracts over the next five to nine years, thereby fostering business growth and stability. The initiative promotes respite care, positive activities, and skill development aligned with the short breaks' agenda, emphasising the importance of experienced and skilled service providers.

CPU4266 - Accreditation List for the Provision of Family Support and Short Breaks - Round 1 Only

Notice Description

This relates to Round 1 only Accreditation List for the Provision of Short Breaks. The Accreditation List will consist of three lots: Lot 1: Community Short Breaks, which includes: Lot 1a: Community Based Group Activity Community-based group activity for children aged anywhere between 0-18th birthday (provider to state age range catered for) including daytime, school holiday only, after school/evening and weekend activities. (If providing activities of more than 2 hours a week to children under 8, this must be registered with OFSTED) Lot 1b: Individual Activity 1:1 day or evening community-based activity for children and young people aged 0-18th birthday, which can include accessing evening activities such as youth groups, weekend activities and school holiday clubs as well as 'buddying' and support of individual interests. Lot 2: Family Support at Home For children and young people up to their 18th birthday (which requires registration with Care Quality Commission). The emphasis of this support is on respite and positive activities to promote outcomes for children and young people. Staff are expected to be skilled and to have experience in line with the short breaks' agenda. The Accreditation List duration will be for five years with two possible extension periods of two years each. at the Authority's discretion.
