Queensbridge School ~ Tender for Cleaning Services

Notice Description

The successful Supplier will be required to provide cleaning services at Queensbridge School. The contract will commence on 1.4.2019 for a period of 3 years. This contract will be fixed price in nature with the successful Supplier also guaranteeing the number of input hours to the contract as well as the quality of cleaning provision. We are seeking a suitably experienced Supplier who has current experience of working within the secondary school or HE/FE market place, ideally with a strong operational base within the West Midlands, thus allowing for both adequate contract support and operational flexibility that is to be delivered to support the contract as and when needed moving forwards into this contract term. The scope of the contract covers all cleaning requirements at the school's premises, including all holiday and periodic tasks. The successful Supplier will be expected to deliver a concise and detailed method of management reporting at the end of each month, thus updating the Queensbridge School senior management team on the contract performance. It should be noted that the successful Supplier will be expected to bring to the contract: - innovation, - new equipment, and - cleaning methods, with BICSc standards being achieved, as a minimum, thus ensuring that the highest levels of cleanliness are maintained in all areas at all times and also ensuring that the productivity of the cleaning operatives is enhanced moving forward into the new contract term. The projected cost of cleaning is approximately 94 000,00 GBP per annum at Queensbridge School. Queensbridge School is part of the Step Partnership and is possible that other schools within the Step Partnership will become part of the contract during this contract period for the provision of cleaning services. The successful Supplier will be expected to provide this service at these schools using the same costing model, ratios, etc that they applied to their successful tender submission for Queensbridge School at the point of tender submission. The duration of contract for these schools will not be increased and they will join the contract for the remaining contract period that exists at the point of entry into this contract. Please note: Further properties may be added to the contract during the tender process and or during the life of the contract as detailed. The Selection Questionnaire and associated documents can be obtained at: http://www.litmuspartnership.co.uk/project/queensbridge_school The closing date for receipt of the Selection Questionnaire is 26.11.2018 (12:00). Suppliers are required to ensure that documents are obtained and returned to The Litmus Partnership Limited, by email to pqq@litmuspartnership.co.uk by the above closing date and time. Documents in respect of economic / financial standing (where indicated in the Selection Questionnaire) shall be returned to The Litmus Partnership Limited, by email to pqq@litmuspartnership.co.uk by the above closing date and time. It will be the Supplier's responsibility to obtain any necessary documents in order to submit a response by the closing date and time. The contracting authority reserves the right not to award any or part of the contract which is the subject of this Contract Notice and reserves the right to terminate the procurement process at any time. The contracting authority will not be liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest in tendering for this contract opportunity. The contracting authority will consider variant bids, evaluating them (so far as the variant or the evaluation of the variant is in the opinion of the contracting authority practicable) on the same basis as a conforming bid, but shall not be obliged to accept any such bid in preference to a conforming bid even if the variant bid scores more highly. No variant will be considered unless the bidder simultaneously submits a conforming bid.
