The Department would like: 1. Review and refinement to aspects of the modelling in the original contract including the impact that e-bikes could make in uptake of cycling and the interaction between cycling and walking investment. 2. Preparation of two publishable reports: o The first report would detail underlying evidence behind the modelling developed in the original contract and additional analysis (ebikes, interaction of cycling/walking investment) and how this has led to the functionality of the model. o The second report would detail results from the models, including a description of the scenarios and specific assumptions. 3. Presentations of the evidence and modelling to stakeholders inc ministers, OGDs and external bodies. 4. Preparation of a short paper summarising the existing evidence on how transport can enable people to access employment and progress into higher-skilled, higher-paid work with case studies attached.
