Notice Description

NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS Nottingham City CCG acting as Lead Commissioner on behalf of the Nottinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Groups (Nottingham West, Nottingham North and East, Rushcliffe, Mansfield and Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood CCG's) is inviting suitably qualified providers to deliver Continuing Care Packages for Children and Young People across Nottinghamshire under an Any Qualified Provider (AQP) process. Services are required for tailor made package of care needed over an extended period of time for children and young people with complex health needs which arise because of disability, accident or illness (including life limiting/ life threatening conditions or mental health illness) that cannot be met by existing local universal and specialist healthcare services alone. The procurements main aims are:- - To establish a list of approved providers, who can deliver high quality, outcome focused packages of care for children and young people living at home with their families. - To develop a service which can meet the highly complex health needs of children and young people in Nottinghamshire in accordance with the principles of the National Framework for Children and Young People with Continuing Care guidance and the national personalisation agenda. The contract period will be for 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years. Additional information: The Contracting Authority intends to use an eTendering system in this procurement exercise. The services described within this notice relate to the Light Touch Regime in the Public Procurement Regulations 2015. Neither the publication of this notice nor the employment of any particular terminology nor any other indication shall be taken to mean that the Contracting Authority intends to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations.
