Community Services Tender

Notice Description

NHS Sutton CCG Procurement for a Community Services Provider NHS Sutton Clinical Commissioning Group (NHS Sutton CCG) is a membership organisation made up of all 27 GP practices in the borough of Sutton. We were established in December 2011 as a shadow organisation. We received authorisation from the NHS Commissioning Board (now NHS England) in April 2013. This means, as an authorised CCG, we are responsible for the local NHS budget and making sure it is spent on the right health services for the needs of Sutton residents. We commission a range of healthcare services on behalf of the population of Sutton. These will include services you receive at hospitals, in the community and mental health services. We serve a population of 188,478 people across the borough of Sutton. As doctors, we came together to put patients first and improve health services in Sutton. Our vision is to commission high quality health care for the people in Sutton through joint working with health and social care organisations to ensure that patient's physical mental and social wellbeing needs are met and can be summed up as "working together to build the best affordable healthcare for Sutton". The three "localities" in Sutton are - Carshalton, Sutton and Cheam, and Wallington. Localities are responsible for delivering the strategic objectives of the CCG as well as providing peer support to GP practices in their localities and encouraging the delivery of high quality patient care. This enables local issues to be addressed more readily and promotes local partnerships and conversations for those communities. The NHS Sutton CCG, based on the needs of the local community, has developed the scope of Community Services requirement for the NHS Sutton CCG procurement. Through this procurement exercise NHS Sutton CCG is seeking a community services provider that will work with the CCG and other key partners to deliver the best healthcare for the population of Sutton. Additional information: The Tender documentation will be ready for downloading from 2pm on Friday 8th May 2015.
