Notice Description

The Force requires the services of a qualified Psychological Services Provider who is capable of providing a demand driven Psychological service provision in support of the in-house Occupational Health Counselling and Welfare team. The services will be provided to officers and staff employed by Staffordshire Police and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue. All referrals to the Psychological Service provider will be directly from the Occupational Health Unit. The Force will refer those employees requiring treatment which cannot be fulfilled in-house either through, but not limited to, the complexity of the case or capacity. The method of referral will be defined by the Occupational Health Unit. The provider will provide on-site one to one employee counselling sessions in response to the demand from The Force - The Force have advised approximately 700 appointments were undertaken by an external supplier in the last 12 months. It is anticipated that there will be a similar number of appointments per annum going forward.
