Summary of the contracting process

The Local Government Association is initiating a tender titled "Understanding and supporting micro businesses," aimed at commissioning research related to micro-businesses' roles within various local economies. This procurement falls under the services category, specifically focusing on research services, and is active in London, United Kingdom. The tender period concludes on 16th December 2020, with a contract duration starting from 22nd December 2020 and ending on 30th April 2021. The procurement will follow an open procedure, and the estimated contract value is between £10,000 and £25,000.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that specialise in research services, particularly those focused on economic analysis or business development. Given the emphasis on understanding the needs of micro-businesses in the aftermath of economic disruptions, firms with experience in conducting qualitative research, community engagement, or economic policy development would find this opportunity particularly relevant. Participation in this project could help service providers enhance their visibility and establish meaningful connections with local government entities.
