"We have several packages to let under the umbrella of Operated Plant (WP177) Firstly for WP177.1&2 we require the provision of heavy plant equipment on both operated and self-drive options, containing but not limited to: - Large Tracked - Hybrid - Electric Excavators - Mini & Midi Tracked Excavators - Wheeled Excavators - Telehandlers & Forklifts - Site Dumpers - Dump Trucks - Rollers - Loading Shovels - Dozers - Hydraulic Breakers Secondly we have sublots as follows: WP177.3 Roadsweepers WP177.4 Suction Excavators WP177.5 HiABs WP177.6 Heavy Lift Telehandlers WP177.7 Mobile Concrete Pumps This will be tendered as a 5 year framework with opportunity to be reviewed annually. The scope of works included are for the provision of Excavators, Telehandlers, Roadsweepers, Suction Excavators, HiABs, Heavy Lift Telehandlers and Mobile Concrete Pumps which will be called off as and when required through the use of Plant Hire orders. Following responses to this CompeteFor advert, suppliers will be shortlisted and successful suppliers will be invited to a competitive tender for the framework of works and services whereby final selection will be based upon a balanced scorecard assessment. The criteria of this assessment will consider quantitative and qualitative evidence supplied by tenderer's. We are an unincorporated joint venture between Skanska, Costain and Strabag working on HS2 main works civil engineering contract, currently in the early contractor involvement stage for Section 1 and Section 2 of the planned HS2 route. Not only have the individual companies delivered high speed rail, major infrastructure and some of the most iconic structures internationally, the joint venture also has a proven record of working together. Skanska and Costain have a long history of successfully delivering civil engineering projects together in the UK, dating back 30 years. In joint venture they have delivered many major infrastructure projects, including the M25 in the 1980s, High Speed 1 in the early 2000s and the current Crossrail endeavor coming to completion under the streets of London in 2018. STRABAG and Skanska have worked together for over 15 years on European projects in Switzerland, Slovakia and Norway. As a joint venture, we are bringing together our collective strength to deliver world-class engineering, contributing to the long term economic growth of local and international markets. This is perfectly encapsulated in our mission; to draw everyone together to create a strong foundation from which to launch a transformative legacy.
