Notice Description

Alexandra Park and Palace Charitable Trust (APPCT)are undertaking a large restoration of the building's East Wing. As part of these works APPCT are developing opportunities to build on the rich heritage of the site, to extend and enhance its public offer as a visitor destination. APPCT are looking to appoint a number of specialist exhibition contractors to work with the Project Design Team to deliver the interpretation design. This project will be in the former BBC studios and East Court of Alexandra Palace. It will provide a history of entertainment from the Victorian "People's Palace", through the beginnings of Britain's public television service from its first transmission, to the thriving music and events venue of today.
