Notice Description

Homes for Haringey are looking to procure a consultant to conduct asbestos surveys, asbestos sampling and air testing. The contract will deliver Management or Refurbishment/Demolition surveys including sampling and a standalone item for independent air testing (for asbestos removal completed by our approved contractor). Primarily we will require management surveys which will cover our void properties and re-inspection surveys for the common parts of our blocks. The volume of work is not guaranteed but we have approx 15 management and R&D surveys per week and approx 700 re-inspection surveys per annum. We will also require ad-hoc testing of locations prior to works being carried out by our DLO or third party contractors and Air Tests after the completion of removal works by our Asbestos Removal Contractor. The works will be carried out at various locations throughout the borough. The initial contract will run to March 2020 with an option to extend for a further year.
