Ophthalmology Telemedicine and Image Workflow Management
Notice Description
UHB is seeking to engage with potential suppliers of a Telemedicine and Image Workflow Management solution for its Ophthalmology speciality. The purpose of the envisaged solution will be to enable the transformation of clinical care by seamlessly connecting community optometry, hospital clinicians and patients. The envisaged solution will support data collection via customisable and dynamic patient questionnaires, capture and transfer of patient data and large ophthalmic images, remote clinical triage and review, full integration with ophthalmic hardware manufacturers and UHB's IT systems, and mechanism to feedback to optometrists and patients. To support clinical flow the system must be user-friendly and intuitive, fast, and easy to enter patient outcomes which are automatically actioned and communicated with patients and their referrer. Prior to any future procurement process, UHB will be holding a supplier engagement event in order to present an outline of the requirements to interested providers and give an opportunity for providers to ask questions and seek clarification where necessary Additional information: For more information regarding this pre-market engagement opportunity and to register your interest in attending the planned supplier engagement event, please see the associated Prior Information Notice published in OJEU
